What is a galvanized pipe? Galvanized pipe is to make molten metal and iron matrix reaction to produce an alloy layer, so that the matrix and coating of the combination of the two.
Hot-dip galvanizing involves pickling the steel pipe first. In order to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe, after pickling, the steel pipe is cleaned through the aqueous solution of ammonium chloride or zinc chloride or the aqueous solution of ammonium chloride and zinc chloride mixed, and then send it to the hot-dip plating bath. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.
Galvanizing copper wire plating of galvanized pipe is the same as continuous plating, but the equipment of plating is different. The plating bath for wire is designed with its long and thin strip characteristics, and its body is long, wide and shallow. During electroplating, the iron wire is threaded through the holes, spread out in a zigzag shape at the liquid level and maintain the space between each other.
However, the galvanized pipe is different from the iron wire, with its unique features, and the groove equipment is more complex. The tank is composed of upper part and lower part. The upper part is a plating tank and the lower part is a solution circulation storage tank, forming an upper narrow and lower wide, trapezoidal tank. In the plating tank, there is a channel for galvanizing pipe electroplating operation. At the bottom of the tank, there are two through holes connected with the storage tank at the lower part, and a plating solution circulation and reuse system is formed with the lower liquid pump.
Therefore, the galvanized pipe is dynamic like the iron wire plating, and the plating solution of galvanized pipe is also dynamic unlike the iron wire plating.
